The Magic Mouse finally arrived at my doorstep this afternoon. Technizmo will be reviewing the Magic Mouse soon, but I just wanted to let you all know of a few things to expect if you do plan on buying this mouse in the coming days.
First of all, this thing is crazy thin compared to my older mouse. Depending on which mouse you're switching from, it may take some time for you to adjust to the shape.
Second, make sure to download the firmware update for this mouse, or else you'll be puzzled for hours. I can't tell you how many headaches this mouse caused me, trying to figure out what I may of did wrong. Apple is known for making things simple, so they need to let the buyer know about this firmware update as soon as it connects to the Mac.

Last but not least, I'll be talking a little about the gestures you can do with this mouse. Using the two finger swipe is a bit hard when you swipe in the "right" direction. When right clicking, you have to remove your index finger so that only one finger is on the mouse. Other than all those things that I've brought to your attention, the mouse gets my approval for now. Many people complained about the lack of being able to use other features known to be used on the track pad or Mighty Mouse. Notice that I said you had to install new firmware to get the Magic Mouse to work with your Mac, so maybe all those features we've all wanted are only a firmware update away!
Update: An easy fix for accessing your favorite shortcuts would be hot corners.
