For you all who don't know what Wipeout Pure is..Its pretty much a game where you race with future type cars..cars that float. At first look at the game..it looks like you are about to race a boat though. I believe the game came out in 2005 for the PSP.
Even for a older game..it looks great! I think it is one of the best looking handheld games for the PSP. You really feel like you are going 400MPH when you play this game.
When I first played this game, I thought the controls SUCKED...it took me about 2 days to really get the feel of how to move my car around other cars without hitting the side of the tracks. You use the L and R buttons for breaks...kinda weird eh? When you do get use to the controls, its smooth going from there.

Like I said before, when you play the game, you really feel like you are going fast. This game is kinda like a rip off of MarioKart because you race about 5 other cars, and on the track, you can hit arrows to make you speed up really fast. Along the way, you can hit a "x" that picks you a random power to use to help you or hurt the other players...some of them are super speed, or a way to shoot the other cars. It's really cool though because even if you are in first place, you still can't relax.
Well I cant really say how online gameplay is since I didn't have time to try it out, but I'm sure it would be a great way to use your PSP in a wifi hotspot. I give the game a 6 out of 10 which means I think you should buy it for yourself.
